Spilling Through My Fingers

I am a photography heathen.  My blog; my opinion:

Those who call themselves photography purists have no imagination.

I adore filters, overlays, and the creative process involved in the metamorphosis of the ordinary into altered states; a parallel universe for the mundane.

Trees are beautiful to the human eye. That's because we see all dimensions. A camera lens flattens what our eyes perceive as lovely and leaves us wondering what we saw that was so extraordinary we stopped to photograph it.

Below are some truly ordinary photographs that, without the magic of imagination, would be "just another."
